A Tuggeranong instructor, not a visitor
We are based in Chisholm, inside the Tuggeranong valley. Most driving schools that advertise here are driving down from Woden, Belconnen or Gungahlin, which means their time starts when they reach you, and their route knowledge is whatever they picked up along the way.
Being local changes two practical things. First, pickup is genuinely quick, so more of your booked hour is spent driving rather than repositioning. Second, we teach on Drakeford, Athllon, Isabella and the Town Centre car parks every single day. We know which roundabouts catch learners out, when the school-zone traffic around Calwell and Wanniassa turns difficult, and where there is quiet road to practise a hill start without a queue building behind you.
Every lesson is one-on-one in a dual-control automatic, at your pace. Nervous first-timers, learners chasing test-ready hours, and licensed drivers rebuilding confidence are all equally welcome.

Where you'll actually drive
Tuggeranong is a good place to learn precisely because it has everything in a small radius: quiet residential loops to start on, busy arterials to build up to, and enough roundabouts to make you genuinely competent at them.
Drakeford & Athllon Drive
The two arterials that tie the valley together, and where most learners first meet sustained 80 km/h traffic, lane discipline and high-speed merging. We build up to them gradually rather than throwing you in.
Isabella & Erindale Drive
Multi-lane roundabouts, shopping-centre turn-offs and steady cross-traffic. Roundabout entry judgement is one of the most common reasons learners lose points, so we spend real time here.
Town Centre & the Hyperdome
Car park navigation, reverse parking between real cars, pedestrians stepping out, and tight low-speed control. These are the everyday skills a test can ask for and that quiet back streets never teach you.
Monaro Hwy & Tuggeranong Pkwy
Once you are steady, we move to higher-speed dual carriageway work: on-ramps, exit planning, safe following distance and confident lane changes at speed.
Every suburb in the valley
Free pickup covers the whole Tuggeranong district. If you are just outside it, in Woden, Queanbeyan or the Molonglo Valley, get in touch and we will almost certainly still come to you.
